DAY 1
Darjeeling – Arrival
Upon arrival at IXB/NJP/Siliguri, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. You’ll then be assisted with your transfer to Darjeeling, located approximately 105 kilometers away—a scenic drive of around 3.5 to 4 hours. Perched at an altitude of 2,123 meters (7,001 feet), Darjeeling is renowned for its stunning landscapes, lush tea gardens, and breathtaking views of Mount Everest, earning it the title “Queen of the Hills.”
Darjeeling is also home to several iconic attractions including the UNESCO World Heritage Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), and the renowned Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park.
Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. The evening is free for you to stroll around the Mall Road or enjoy shopping at the local market. Later, return to your hotel, have a delicious dinner, and relax overnight in Darjeeling.

DAY 2
Darjeeling – City Tour
Enjoy a wholesome breakfast at your hotel in Darjeeling. Today, set out for a full-day Darjeeling city tour. Begin your day early at around 3:30 AM to catch the mesmerizing sunrise at Tiger Hill (2,590 meters), offering spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks. On the return, stop by the Ghoom Monastery and the unique Batasia Loop.
Continue with a half-day sightseeing tour covering key attractions such as the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), and a panoramic view of Chitrey Tea Garden.
By evening, return to your hotel for some rest. Later, enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night at your hotel in Darjeeling.

Siliguri – Departure

- To maintain a smooth travel experience, the company reserves the right to make necessary changes to the itinerary if required. Such adjustments may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, technical issues, service disruptions, changes in government regulations, or similar situations beyond our control.
- Please note that a package is not considered confirmed until the advance payment is received by Travel To Joy.
- For packages marked as DND (Date Not Decided), the travel dates must be confirmed within three months from the date of invoice issuance.
- Failure to do so may result in inconvenience or unavailability of certain services.
- To enhance your travel experience, Travel To Joy occasionally offers complimentary upgrades such as better hotels, upgraded room categories, or improved vehicle types. These upgrades come at no extra cost and may be informed to you either before or during your trip.
Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
- The token amount paid at the time of booking is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- The cancellation charges will range between 25% to 50% of the total tour package cost, depending on the timing and nature of the cancellation.
- Bookings canceled within 15 days of the travel date or in the event of a no-show will result in 100% retention charges.
- No refunds will be issued for any missed or unused services, including flights, trains, hotel accommodations, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry tickets, permits, or any other services provided by Travel To Joy.
- Travel To Joy reserves the right to cancel a booking if the required minimum advance payment (50% of the total package cost) is not received.
- If any guest is found engaging in illegal activities or displaying violent behavior, the company reserves the right to immediately terminate all services without issuing any refund.
