DAY 1
NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport -> Phuentsholing
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Phuentsholing (961 ft.), the gateway to Bhutan by road from India. This bustling town lies at the northern edge of the Indian plains and serves as a key commercial hub. After reaching, check in to your hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

DAY 2
Phuentsholing –> Thimphu
After breakfast, complete the immigration process and proceed to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, located at an altitude of 7,710 ft. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, explore the impressive Tashichho Dzong, also known as the Fortress of the Glorious Religion. Stay overnight in Thimphu.

DAY 3
Thimphu – Sightseeing -> Punakha / Wangdue
After breakfast, begin your day with visits to Kuensel Phodrang (featuring the giant Buddha statue), the National Memorial Chorten, and the Folk Heritage Museum. In the afternoon, proceed to Punakha or Wangdue Phodrang (4,300 ft.), passing through the scenic Dochu-La Pass (10,170 ft.), which offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks. The pass is also home to 108 Druk Wangyal Khangzang Chortens, believed to bring immense spiritual merit, making it a must-visit attraction. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Punakha / Wangdue – Local Sightseeing -> Paro
After breakfast, check out from the hotel with your luggage and begin your day by visiting the historic Punakha Dzong, built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. Once the seat of the government until the reign of the second king, this magnificent structure—officially named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness)—still serves as the winter residence of the Je Khenpo. It was also the site where King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck held Bhutan’s first National Assembly in 1952.
Next, take a short and pleasant hike to Chhimi Lhakhang, popularly known as the “Temple of Fertility,” founded by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, also known as the “Divine Madman.”
In the afternoon, drive to Paro. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Enjoy an overnight stay in Paro (7,483 ft.).

DAY 5
Paro – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Paro. Begin with a visit to Ta Dzong, home to the National Museum, which houses a remarkable collection of Bhutanese artifacts and antiquities. Continue to Rinpung Dzong, the administrative center of the Paro district. In the afternoon, explore Drukgyel Dzong—though partially destroyed by fire in 1951, it remains a preserved heritage site. Conclude the day with a visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred Buddhist temples in Bhutan. Enjoy an overnight stay in Paro.

- To maintain a smooth travel experience, the company reserves the right to make necessary changes to the itinerary if required. Such adjustments may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, technical issues, service disruptions, changes in government regulations, or similar situations beyond our control.
- Please note that a package is not considered confirmed until the advance payment is received by Travel To Joy.
- For packages marked as DND (Date Not Decided), the travel dates must be confirmed within three months from the date of invoice issuance.
- Failure to do so may result in inconvenience or unavailability of certain services.
- To enhance your travel experience, Travel To Joy occasionally offers complimentary upgrades such as better hotels, upgraded room categories, or improved vehicle types. These upgrades come at no extra cost and may be informed to you either before or during your trip.
Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
- The token amount paid at the time of booking is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- The cancellation charges will range between 25% to 50% of the total tour package cost, depending on the timing and nature of the cancellation.
- Bookings canceled within 15 days of the travel date or in the event of a no-show will result in 100% retention charges.
- No refunds will be issued for any missed or unused services, including flights, trains, hotel accommodations, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry tickets, permits, or any other services provided by Travel To Joy.
- Travel To Joy reserves the right to cancel a booking if the required minimum advance payment (50% of the total package cost) is not received.
- If any guest is found engaging in illegal activities or displaying violent behavior, the company reserves the right to immediately terminate all services without issuing any refund.
