DAY 1
Darjeeling -> Arrival – Summer Capital Of East
Upon your arrival at IXB/NJP/Siliguri, you will be warmly greeted by our representative. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel in Darjeeling. After reaching, check in and relax for a while. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along Mall Road and soak in the local charm. Later, enjoy dinner and spend the night at your hotel in Darjeeling.

DAY 2
Darjeeling – City Tour
Begin your day with a healthy breakfast at your hotel in Darjeeling. Today, you’ll embark on a full-day city tour of Darjeeling. Start early at around 3:30 AM to witness the stunning sunrise from Tiger Hill (2,590 meters / 13 km / approx. 45 minutes). On your way back, visit the renowned Ghoom Monastery and the scenic Batasia Loop.
Continue with a half-day sightseeing tour covering popular attractions such as the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), and enjoy the outer view of the Tea Garden at Chitrey.
By evening, return to your hotel and relax. Later, have dinner and spend the night at your hotel in Darjeeling.

Darjeeling –> Gangtok Hills
Start your day with a wholesome breakfast at your hotel in Darjeeling, then check out. Today, you’ll be heading to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. Upon arrival in the afternoon, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax. Later, set out with your family to explore the charming hill town. Gangtok offers a variety of family-friendly attractions — take a stroll along Mall Road, enjoy shopping at the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom, and visit popular spots like the Research Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery, White Hall, and the vibrant Flower Show. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Gangtok.

Gangtok –> Lachung

After lunch, begin your journey towards Gangtok. If the weather is clear, you may catch a spectacular view of the mighty Khangchendzonga from the Singhik View Point along the way. Upon arrival in Gangtok, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy dinner and stay overnight at your Gangtok hotel.

- Our packages can be tailored to suit your preferences and needs.
- To maintain a smooth travel experience, the company reserves the right to make necessary changes to the itinerary if required. Such adjustments may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, technical issues, service disruptions, changes in government regulations, or similar situations beyond our control.
- Please note that a package is not considered confirmed until the advance payment is received by Travel To Joy.
- For packages marked as DND (Date Not Decided), the travel dates must be confirmed within three months from the date of invoice issuance.
- Failure to do so may result in inconvenience or unavailability of certain services.
- To enhance your travel experience, Travel To Joy occasionally offers complimentary upgrades such as better hotels, upgraded room categories, or improved vehicle types. These upgrades come at no extra cost and may be informed to you either before or during your trip.
Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
- The token amount paid at the time of booking is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- The cancellation charges will range between 25% to 50% of the total tour package cost, depending on the timing and nature of the cancellation.
- Bookings canceled within 15 days of the travel date or in the event of a no-show will result in 100% retention charges.
- No refunds will be issued for any missed or unused services, including flights, trains, hotel accommodations, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry tickets, permits, or any other services provided by Travel To Joy.
- Travel To Joy reserves the right to cancel a booking if the required minimum advance payment (50% of the total package cost) is not received.
- If any guest is found engaging in illegal activities or displaying violent behavior, the company reserves the right to immediately terminate all services without issuing any refund.
