🌞 5 Days of North East India Beauty – Itinerary
DAY 1
Gangtok -> Arrival
Upon your arrival at IXB/NJP/Siliguri, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel in Gangtok. After reaching, check in and take some time to relax. In the evening, you may explore Mall Road and enjoy a peaceful walk. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and enjoy an overnight stay in Gangtok.

DAY 2
Gangtok – City Tour
Start your day with a wholesome breakfast at your hotel in Gangtok. Today, you’ll head out for a full-day excursion to the picturesque Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and the revered Baba Mandir (13,200 ft), located about 55 km from Gangtok. After enjoying the scenic beauty and spiritual atmosphere, return to your hotel by evening and take some rest. Later, relish a delicious dinner and spend the night at your hotel in Gangtok.
📌 Note: In case of landslides or if Tsomgo Lake is inaccessible, alternate sightseeing will be arranged.

DAY 3
Gangtok -> Darjeeling
Enjoy a wholesome breakfast at your hotel in Gangtok, then proceed to check out. Today, you will head towards Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for a while. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.

DAY 4
Darjeeling – City Tour
Start your day with a nutritious breakfast at your hotel in Darjeeling. Today, you’ll embark on a full-day Darjeeling city tour.
Begin early at around 3:30 AM to catch the mesmerizing sunrise from Tiger Hill (2,590 meters). On your way back, visit the iconic Ghoom Monastery and the scenic Batasia Loop.
Later in the day, continue your half-day sightseeing covering popular attractions like the Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), and enjoy the outer view of the Chitrey Tea Garden.
Return to the hotel by evening to relax. Enjoy a delightful dinner and stay overnight at your hotel in Darjeeling.

Darjeeling – Departure

- For clarity and transparency, guests are kindly requested to communicate all requirements and discussions in writing, as verbal agreements will not be considered valid.
- Our packages can be tailored to suit your preferences and needs.
- To maintain a smooth travel experience, the company reserves the right to make necessary changes to the itinerary if required. Such adjustments may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, technical issues, service disruptions, changes in government regulations, or similar situations beyond our control.
- Please note that a package is not considered confirmed until the advance payment is received by Travel To Joy.
- For packages marked as DND (Date Not Decided), the travel dates must be confirmed within three months from the date of invoice issuance.
- Failure to do so may result in inconvenience or unavailability of certain services.
- To enhance your travel experience, Travel To Joy occasionally offers complimentary upgrades such as better hotels, upgraded room categories, or improved vehicle types. These upgrades come at no extra cost and may be informed to you either before or during your trip.
Cancellation Policy
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
- The token amount paid at the time of booking is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- The cancellation charges will range between 25% to 50% of the total tour package cost, depending on the timing and nature of the cancellation.
- Bookings canceled within 15 days of the travel date or in the event of a no-show will result in 100% retention charges.
- No refunds will be issued for any missed or unused services, including flights, trains, hotel accommodations, meals, sightseeing, transfers, entry tickets, permits, or any other services provided by Travel To Joy.
- Travel To Joy reserves the right to cancel a booking if the required minimum advance payment (50% of the total package cost) is not received.
- If any guest is found engaging in illegal activities or displaying violent behavior, the company reserves the right to immediately terminate all services without issuing any refund.
