Travel through the rugged, dramatic terrain of Chatru<\/strong> and Batal<\/strong>, catching your first chill at the majestic Kunzum Pass<\/strong> (14,931 ft). Descend into Losar<\/strong>, the first village of Spiti Valley, and take a short chai (tea) break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continue your scenic drive through the surreal Spiti landscapes and arrive at Kaza<\/strong>.

If time allows, hike up to the beautiful Dhankar Lake (Dhankar Tso)<\/strong> for panoramic views of the valley and the twin Mane Rang peaks (6,593 m)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
